The transmission-alarm holdup-timer command enables the filtering function for the delay clearance alarms, and set a filtering interval.
The undo transmission-alarm holdup-timer command recovers the preceding function.
By default, the preceding function is enabled.
This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.
Parameter | Description | Value |
---|---|---|
holdup-time |
Indicates the interval for filtering delay clearance alarms (If alarm clearance information is received within the holdup time, alarm information is filtered. Otherwise, the alarm is responded.). |
The value is an integer ranging from 200 to 3600000 in milliseconds. The default value is 300 milliseconds. |
Usage Scenario
The transmission-alarm holdup-timer command can be used to enable alarm clearance filtering and set a filtering interval.
Prerequisites
Transmission alarm customization has been enabled on an interface.
Configuration Impact
After the transmission-alarm holdup-timer command is executed, the interface goes Up after a delay of <holdup-timer> milliseconds.
The value of the holdup-time parameter varies with the flapping frequency of interfaces.
