The transparent-transmission interface command configures DCN packet transparent transmission entries on an interface.
The undo transparent-transmission interface command deletes DCN packet transparent transmission entries from an interface.
By default, DCN packet transparent transmission entries are not configured on an interface.
transparent-transmission interface { interface-type1 interface-number1 | interface-name1 } to { interface-type2 interface-number2 | interface-name2 }
undo transparent-transmission interface { interface-type1 interface-number1 | interface-name1 } to { interface-type2 interface-number2 | interface-name2 }
Usage Scenario
If a DCN has a large number of NEs, the DCN must be split. If a cross-ring gateway network element (GNE) is connected to rings where a large number of NEs exist, the rings are negatively affected, and services on the rings cannot be protected. In this case, you can configure DCN packet transparent transmission to protect the services.
