Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To configure 802.1p-based BA classification for VXLAN packets when VXLAN packets are forwarded out of a VXLAN tunnel and the outbound interface of the route is a sub-interface, run the trust 8021p vxlan-mode command.

Prerequisites

The trust upstream <ds-domain-name> inbound vxlan-mode command has been configured.

Precautions

If both a physical interface and bridge domain are configured with BA classification, the BA classification in the BD view preferentially takes effect.

Example

# Configure 802.1p-based BA classification for VXLAN packets.
<HUAWEI> system-view
[~HUAWEI] bridge-domain 1
[*HUAWEI-bd 1] trust 8021p inbound vxlan-mode
