Function

The tunnel-acct-2867 command enables the accounting defined by RFC 2867 for tunnel users.

The undo tunnel-acct-2867 command disables the accounting defined by RFC 2867 for tunnel users.

By default, the accounting defined by RFC 2867 is disabled.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

After the accounting defined by RFC 2867 for tunnel users is enabled, the accounting packets for the tunnel and users in the tunnel are sent to the authentication server based on the format defined by RFC 2867.

After the accounting defined by RFC 2867 for tunnel users is disabled, the accounting packets are sent to the authentication server based on the format defined by RFC 2866.

Precautions

The tunnel-acct-2867 command takes effect only after the tunnel aaa-authentication command is used to configure AAA authentication for an L2TP tunnel.
