The tunnel aaa-authentication command configures the AAA authentication on the L2TP tunnel.
The undo tunnel aaa-authentication command cancels the AAA authentication.
By default, the tunnel AAA authentication is disabled on the L2TP tunnel.
This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.
Usually, when authenticating a L2TP tunnel, the device authenticates only the name and password. With the AAA authentication enabled on the L2TP tunnel, the device sends the name and password to the AAA server (RADIUS server or HWTACACS server) for authentication. The tunnel AAA authentication allows different passwords on the LAC and the LNS.
