unspecified-channel permit

Function

The unspecified-channel permit command allows users to join multicast programs that are not specified in a multicast bandwidth limit policy and configures the device not to count the bandwidth consumed by such programs.

The undo unspecified-channel permit command does not allow users to join multicast programs that are not specified in a multicast bandwidth limit policy.

By default, users are not allowed to join multicast programs that are not specified in a multicast bandwidth limit policy.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Usage Scenario

By default, users are not allowed to join multicast programs that are not specified in a multicast bandwidth limit policy. To allow users to join multicast programs that are not specified in a multicast bandwidth limit policy and not to count the bandwidth consumed by such programs, run the unspecified-channel permit command.

Prerequisites

The multicast bas-policy command has been run in the system view.

The policy command has been run in the multicast BAS policy view.

Precautions

This command is supported only on the admin VS.
