Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

When multiple user-VLAN sub-interfaces configured on the same interface can be accessed by different VLAN users, to help you learn user VLAN information, run the vlan description command to configure a description for the user VLAN.

Precautions

After the vlan description command is run, the system displays only the description of the VLAN with the same ID as the User-VLAN configured on the interface.

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.

Example

# Configure a description huawei for a user VLAN that receives packets carrying a single VLAN tag with IDs ranging from 100 to 200.
