user volume-quota apply

Function

The user volume-quota apply command applies a user traffic volume quota to upstream or downstream traffic.

The undo user volume-quota apply command restores the default configuration.

By default, the user traffic volume quota applies to both upstream and downstream traffic.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

user volume-quota apply { inbound | outbound }

undo user volume-quota apply [ inbound | outbound ]

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

While providing prepaid services, carriers can perform accounting based on the upstream traffic, downstream traffic, or both the upstream and downstream traffic. To apply a user traffic volume quota to upstream or downstream traffic, run the user volume-quota apply command.

Configuration Impact

After the user volume-quota apply command is run, the user traffic volume quota decreases with the specified upstream or downstream traffic volume.

If the user volume-quota apply command is run more than once, the latest configuration overrides the previous one.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
