vpn-instance (BAS interface view)

Function

The vpn-instance command specifies on the BAS interface the VPN instance to which static users belong.

The undo vpn-instance command restores the default value.

By default, a public network VPN instance is bound to a static user.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

vpn-instance vpn-instance-name

undo vpn-instance

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
vpn-instance-name

Specifies the VPN instance name. The instance must be a configured VPN instance.

The value is a string of 1 to 31 case-sensitive characters, spaces not supported. In addition, the VPN instance name must not be _public_. When double quotation marks are used around the string, spaces are allowed in the string.

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
