vpn-instance

Function

The vpn-instance command binds a VPN instance to an address pool group.

The undo vpn-instance command binds a public VPN instance to an address pool group.

By default, a public network VPN instance is bound to an address pool group.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

vpn-instance vpn-instance-name

undo vpn-instance

Parameters

Specifies the VPN instance name.

The value is a string of 1 to 31 characters.

Usage Scenario

The vpn-instance command is used to bind a VPN instance to an address pool group

Prerequisites

Both the address pool group and the VPN instance have been created.

Precautions

The address pool group and its member pools must be bound to the same VPN instance.

The address pool group and the domain to which the address pool group belongs must be bound to the same VPN instance.

Example

# Set the vrf1 as the VPN instance of address pool huawei.
<HUAWEI> system-view
[~HUAWEI] ip pool huawei bas local
Info: It's successful to create an IP address pool
