Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

To view VPWS traffic statistics about a VPWS PW, run the mpls l2vpn pw traffic-statistics enable command. These statistics help you learn network operating status.

Prerequisites

The primary VPWS PW and secondary or bypass VPWS PW have been established.

Precautions

  • The function to collect VPWS PW traffic statistics can be used together with VPWS QoS functions. The VPWS-QoS-based traffic statistics collection function takes effect on an interface only after VPWS QoS is enabled on the interface.
  • If you do not specify secondary or bypass when running the mpls l2vpn pw traffic-statistics enable command, the function to collect traffic statistics about the primary VPWS PW is enabled.
