web-server mode(HTTP redirection profile view)

Function

The web-server mode command configures an HTTP working mode for a web server.

The undo web-server mode command restores the default working mode for a web server.

The default working mode for a web server is get.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

web-server mode { get | post }

undo web-server mode [ get | post ]

Usage Scenario

HTTP redirection is used to block user or service traffic after user or service quotas are exhausted. Users' HTTP requests are redirected to a specified page (a recharge page usually). To configure an HTTP working mode for a web server, run the web-server mode command.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
