web-url

Function

The web-url command configures a redirect URL in a redirect template.

The undo web-url command deletes the configured redirect URL from a redirect template.

By default, no redirect URL is configured in the redirect template view.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

web-url url-string

Parameters

url-string	Specifies the redirect URL, either in a domain name or an IP address, such as 1.1.1.1, http://1.1.1.1, www.huawei.com or http://www.huawei.com.	The value is a string of 1 to 200 characters.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

If you need the RADIUS server to deliver Redback private attribute 107 (redirect template name) to redirect users, run the web-url command to configure a redirect URL in the redirect template.

Configuration Impact

If no redirect URL is configured in the redirect template when the RADIUS server delivers Redback private attribute 107, users fail to go online.

If the RADIUS server delivers both Redback private attribute 107 (redirect template name) and Huawei attribute 140 (redirect address), the device parses the attributes in sequence, and the attribute that is parsed last takes effect.

Precautions

In VS mode, this command is supported only by the admin VS.
