whitelist session-car dhcp-server

Function

The whitelist session-car dhcp-server command sets values for the DHCPv4 session CAR parameters.

The undo whitelist session-car dhcp-server command restores the default values for the DHCPv4 session CAR parameters.

By default, the CIR, CBS, PIR, and PBS of DHCPv4 session CAR are 512 kbit/s, 64000 bytes, 1200 kbit/s, and 150000 bytes, respectively.

This command is supported only on the NetEngine 8000 F1A.

Format

whitelist session-car dhcp-server { cir cir-value | cbs cbs-value | pir pir-value | pbs pbs-value } *

undo whitelist session-car dhcp-server [ cir cir-value | cbs cbs-value | pir pir-value | pbs pbs-value ] *

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
cir cir-value

Specifies the committed information rate (CIR).

The value is an integer ranging from 0 to 1000000, in kbit/s.

cbs cbs-value

Specifies the committed burst size (CBS).

The value is an integer ranging from 0 to 9000000, in bytes.

pir pir-value

Specifies the peak information rate (PIR).

The value is an integer ranging from 0 to 1000000, in kbit/s.

pir-value must be greater than or equal to cir-value.

pbs pbs-value

Specifies the peak burst size (PBS).

The value is an integer ranging from 0 to 9000000, in bytes.

pbs-value must be greater than or equal to cbs-value.

Usage Scenario

If the configured DHCPv4 session CAR parameters do not meet service bandwidth requirements, you can run the whitelist session-car dhcp-server command to modify the bandwidth values as needed.

Precautions

This command is supported only on the admin VS.
