Function

The debugging pim snooping command enables the PIM Snooping debugging function.

The undo debugging pim snooping command disables the PIM Snooping debugging function.

By default, the debugging function is disabled for PIM Snooping.

Format

debugging pim [ ipv6 ] snooping { event | join-prune | neighbor | packet | assert } [ advanced-acl-number ] [ interface { if-type if-num | if-name } ]

undo debugging pim [ ipv6 ] snooping { event | join-prune | neighbor | packet | assert } [ interface { if-type if-num | if-name } ]

undo debugging pim [ ipv6 ] snooping all

Parameters

ipv6	Enables the debugging of IPv6 PIM snooping.	-
event	Enables the PIM Snooping event debugging function.	-
join-prune	Enables the debugging function for PIM Snooping Join/Prune messages.	-
neighbor	Enables the debugging function for PIM Snooping neighbor information.	-
packet	Enables the debugging function for PIM Snooping data packets.	-
assert	Enables the debugging function for PIM Snooping Assert packets.	-
advanced-acl-number	Specifies the number of an advanced ACL.	The value is an integer ranging from 3000 to 3999.
interface	Enables the debugging function for PIM Snooping on the specified interface.	-
if-type	Specifies an interface type.	-
if-num	Specifies an interface number.	-
if-name	Specifies the name of an interface.	The value is a string of case-insensitive characters, spaces not supported.
all	Enables all debugging functions for PIM Snooping.	-
