debugging stp

Function

The debugging stp command enables the MSTP debugging.

The undo debugging stp command disables the MSTP debugging.

By default, the debugging of all the MSTP is disabled.

Format

debugging stp [ interface { ifName | ifType ifNum } ] { event | packet { all | receive | send } }

undo debugging stp [ interface { ifName | ifType ifNum } ] { event | packet { all | receive | send } }

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
interface

Specifies the source interface.

ifName

Specifies the source interface type and source interface name.

The value is a string of 1 to 47 case-sensitive characters, spaces not supported.

ifType

Specifies the source interface type and source interface type.

ifNum

Specifies the source interface type and source interface number.

The value is a string of 1 to 63 case-sensitive characters, spaces not supported.

event

Specifies the debugging of the STP events on a specified interface.

packet

Specifies the debugging of BPDU packets on a specified interface.

-

all

Specifies all the MSTP debugging function.

-

receive

Specifies the debugging of BPDU packets received on the specified port.

-

send

Specifies the debugging of BPDU packets send on the specified port.
