Function

The debugging gre command enables debugging of a GRE tunnel.

The undo debugging gre command disables debugging of a GRE tunnel.

By default, the debugging of a GRE tunnel is disabled.

Format

debugging gre { keepalive | packet | all } [ interface { ifname | iftype ifnum } ]

undo debugging gre { keepalive | packet | all } [ interface { ifname | iftype ifnum } ]

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
keepalive

Enables keepalive message debugging.

packet

Enables debugging of GRE sent and received packets.

all

Enables all debugging functions for a GRE tunnel.

interface ifname

Specifies the name of an interface.

-

interface iftype ifnum

Specifies the type and number of an interface.
