debugging vrrp

Function

The debugging vrrp command enables all debugging functions of VRRP and outputs debugging information.

The undo debugging vrrp command disables all debugging functions of VRRP.

By default, VRRP debugging functions are disabled.

Usage Guidelines

Usage Scenario

  • When the master device and backup device become abnormal during switchover, the debugging vrrp packet command enables debugging of VRRP packets and displays detailed information about sent and received VRRP packets. This command can be run to locate the fault.
  • When status changeover of the VRRP group becomes abnormal, the debugging vrrp state command enables status debugging of VRRP and displays the status changeover information about the VRRP group. This command can be run to locate the fault.
  • When status changeover of the VRRP group becomes abnormal, the debugging vrrp timer command enables timer debugging of VRRP and displays the timer timeout information about the VRRP group. This command can be run to locate the fault.
  • When status changeover of the VRRP group becomes abnormal, the debugging vrrptrace command enables timer debugging of VRRP and displays the trace information about the VRRP group. This command can be run to locate the fault.
  • When the interaction between the VRRP module and the external module becomes abnormal, the debugging vrrp event command enables debugging of VRRP event and displays detailed information. This command can be run to locate the fault.
