debugging ripng

Function

The debugging ripng command enables RIPng debugging.

The undo debugging ripng command disables RIPng debugging.

By default, RIPng debugging is disabled.

Format

debugging ripng processId { error | event | backup | jobs } [ interface { interface-name | interface-type interface-num } [ peer peer-address6 ] ]

debugging ripng processId [ interface { interface-name | interface-type interface-num } [ peer peer-address6 ] ]

undo debugging ripng processId { error | event | backup | jobs } [ interface { interface-name | interface-type interface-num } [ peer peer-address6 ] ]

undo debugging ripng processId [ interface { interface-name | interface-type interface-num } [ peer peer-address6 ] ]

Parameters

Parameter Description Value
processId

Specifies the ID of an RIPng process.

The value is an integer ranging from 1 to 4294967295.

error

Enables error debugging.

event

Enables event debugging.

backup

Enables backup debugging.

jobs

Enables job debugging.

interface interface-name

Specifies the name of an interface.

-

interface-type

Specifies the type of an interface.

-

interface-num

Specifies the number of an interface.

-

peer peer-address6

Specifies the IP address of an RIPng neighbor.

The value is in dotted decimal notation.
