DHCPSNP/4/BD_REPLYTRAP: The number of the discarded DHCP reply packets on the untrusted interface of the bridge domain exceeded the threshold. (BridgeDomain=[BdIndex], DiscardedNumber=[DiscardPktAccount])

Description

The number of DHCP reply packets discarded on an untrusted interface exceeded the configured threshold.

Parameters

BdIndex	Bridge domain name.
DiscardPktAccount	Number of discarded DHCP reply packets.

Possible Causes

The number of DHCP reply packets discarded on an untrusted interface exceeded the configured threshold.

Procedure

1. Run the display dhcp snooping { interface interface-type interface-number | vlan vlan-id [ interface interface-type interface-number ] } command to check whether the interface is trusted.

If the interface is trusted, no action is required.
If the interface is untrusted, check whether the alarm threshold for the number of reply packets received by the untrusted interface is proper, whether the interface is attacked, and whether the alarm threshold needs to be adjusted.

2. Collect log and configuration information, and contact Huawei technical support personnel.
