BFD/4/BfdSessReachLimitBindIf: Try to build session, but the session number in the IO board with interface has reached the limit, the new session binding with interface can not be created. (ConfigurationName=[ConfigurationName], InterfaceName=[InterfaceName], SessionLimitPerBoard=[SessionLimitPerBoard])

Description

The number of BFD sessions established on the board where the bound interface resides has reached the PAF upper limit, and no more BFD session can be bound to the interface.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning

ConfigurationName

Indicates the name of the BFD session.

InterfaceName

Indicates the name of the interface bound to the BFD session.

SessionLimitPerBoard

Maximum number of sessions per slot.

Possible Causes

New BFD sessions bound to the interface were still set up when the number of BFD sessions bound to the interface reached the upper limit.

Procedure

1. Run the display bfd statistics command to check whether the number of BFD_IO_SESSION_NUM in the slot reaches the upper limit.

  • If so, go to Step 2.
  • If no, go to Step 3.

2. After the BFD sessions bound to the interface is deleted, the BFD sessions whose configurations are committed are automatically established. In this case, go to Step 4.

3. Collect log and configuration information, and contact technical support personnel.

4. End.
