BRASVSM/4/EDSGApplyCarResourceFailAlarm: Failed to apply for CAR resources for the EDSG.(Slot = [Slot])
This log is supported only on NetEngine 8000 F1A.
In VS mode, this log is supported only by the admin VS.
Description
The EDSG service failed to be activated because the board's CAR resources were insufficient.
Possible Causes
When the EDSG service used CAR for rate limit, the number of CAR resources that were requested for EDSG service activation exceeded the upper limit.
Procedure
1. Add an interface board and check whether the trap is cleared.
- If the trap is cleared, go to Step 3.
- If the trap persists, go to Step 2.
2. Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support personnel.
3. End.
