When an exception or a dead loop is detected on the CPU forwarding module, the system automatically resets the CPU forwarding module. If the CPU forwarding module resets consecutively for four times, the LPU resets.
1. Wait for the system to automatically rectify the fault (exception or dead loop) by resetting the CPU forwarding module or the LPU. Then, check whether the alarm is cleared.
2. Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support personnel
