AM/4/IPCONFLICT: IP address is conflict. (Conflict ip=[ConfIP],PoolNo.=[PoolNo],PoolName=[PoolName])

Description

IP addresses conflicted.

Parameters

PoolName	Address pool name

Possible Causes

Cause 1: When the DHCP server was assigning an IP address to a DHCP client, the dhcp server ping command output showed that the IP address had been used. Cause 2: After discovering that the assigned IP address had been used already, a DHCP client sent a Decline message to the DHCP server.

Procedure

1. Run the display ip pool command to check whether the address pool has available IP addresses.

If yes, no action is required.
If no, go to Step 2.

2. Check whether the conflicting IP address should be used as planned.

If yes, no action is required. The DHCP server can continue assigning IP addresses only after all IP addresses are released from the address pool.
If no, go to Step 3.

3. Run the conflict auto-recycle command to configure the interval for automatically reclaiming conflicting IP addresses. After conflicting IP addresses are reclaimed, these IP addresses become available and can be assigned to clients.
