LINK-DETECT/4/LINKNEIGHBORFULL: Link neighbor is full.(SlotId =[slotid])

Description

The number of LAD neighbors on a board reached the upper limit.

Parameters

Parameter Name	Parameter Meaning
slotid	Slot ID of a board on which the number of LAD neighbors reached the upper limit

Possible Causes

When the number of LAD neighbors stored on a board has reached the upper limit and you attempt to discover more LAD neighbors, the log is generated.

Procedure

1. Run the display link neighbor { slot slot-id | interface interface-type interface-number | all } command to view LAD neighbor information on a specified interface of a device. Check whether unwanted LAD neighbors exist.

If unwanted LAD neighbors exist, go to Step 2.
If no unwanted LAD neighbors exist, go to Step 3.

2. Run the clear link neighbor [ interface interface-type interface-number | slot slot-id ] { sub-interface | all } command to delete unwanted LAD neighbor information. Trigger LAD neighbor discovery and check whether the log persists.

If the log persists, go to Step 3.
If the log is cleared, go to Step 4.

3. Collect log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.

1. Run the display link neighbor { interface interface-type interface-number | all } command to view LAD neighbor information on a specified interface of a device. Check whether unwanted LAD neighbors exist.

If unwanted LAD neighbors exist, go to Step 2.
If no unwanted LAD neighbors exist, go to Step 3.

2. Run the clear link neighbor interface interface-type interface-number { sub-interface | all } command to delete unwanted LAD neighbor information. Trigger LAD neighbor discovery and check whether the log persists.

If the log persists, go to Step 3.
If the log is cleared, go to Step 4.
