Description

Traffic suppression associated with MAC flapping-based loop detection became effective or ineffective on an interface.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning

DomainType

Type of the broadcast domain where traffic suppression occurred

DomainName

Name of the broadcast domain where traffic suppression occurred

IfName

Name of the interface where traffic suppression occurred

CmdType

Traffic suppression type:

  • Add: Traffic suppression became effective.
  • Del: Traffic suppression became ineffective.

Possible Causes

A loop occurred on a network, causing broadcast storms in the broadcast domain.

Procedure

  • Check whether a Layer 2 loop occurs on the network and remove the loop.
