BRASVSM/4/PHYACCTCPY_STAFAIL: Accounting based on physics position for [szAcctSessionID] copy failed to be started, please check accounting server

This log is supported only on NetEngine 8000 F1A.

In VS mode, this log is supported only by the admin VS.

Description

Accounting for the value-added service failed to be started when the accounting packet was copied to the RADIUS server configured on the BAS interface.

Possible Causes

The RADIUS accounting start packet failed to be copied to the RADIUS server configured on the BAS interface.

Procedure

1. Run the ping command in the system view to check whether the RADIUS server for value-added service accounting is properly connected to the device.

If the RADIUS server is properly connected to the device, go to Step 2.
If the RADIUS server is not properly connected to the device, go to Step 3.

2. Check whether the RADIUS server responds to the accounting packet.

If the RADIUS server responds to the accounting packet, go to Step 4.
If the RADIUS server does not respond to the accounting packet, go to Step 3.

3. Collect the alarm information, log information, and configuration information, and contact technical support personnel.
