BRASVSM/4/RD_ACCT_RTFAIL: Normal real time account for [szAcctSessionID] failed, please check radius accounting server

This log is supported only on NetEngine 8000 F1A.

In VS mode, this log is supported only by the admin VS.

Description

Real-time accounting for the value-added service failed when common RADIUS accounting was used.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning

szAcctSessionID

Service accounting ID

Possible Causes

Cause 1: The common RADIUS real-time accounting packet failed to be sent.

Cause 2: The device did not receive an accounting response packet from the RADIUS server.

Procedure

1. Run the ping command in the system view to check whether the RADIUS server for value-added service accounting is properly connected to the device.

  • If the RADIUS server is properly connected to the device, go to Step 2.
  • If the RADIUS server is not properly connected to the device, go to Step 3.

2. Check whether the RADIUS server responds to the accounting packet.

  • If the RADIUS server responds to the accounting packet, go to Step 4.
  • If the RADIUS server does not respond to the accounting packet, go to Step 3.

3. Collect the alarm information, log information, and configuration information, and contact technical support personnel.

4. End.
