BRASAAA/4/REAL_ACCT_FAIL: Failed to process the normal realtime accounting. (User=[user-name], AcctSessionID=[acct-session-id])

In VS mode, this log is supported only by the admin VS.

Description

Common real-time accounting failed to process.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning

user-name

User name.

acct-session-id

Accounting session ID.

Possible Causes

Cause 1:The accounting server was down.

Cause 2:The link between the device and accounting server was disconnected.

Procedure

1. Check whether the accounting server works normally.

  • If the accounting server does not work properly, contact the maintenance personnel of the accounting server to resolve the server problem. If the log does not persist after the server problem is resolved, no other actions are required.
  • If the accounting server works properly, ping the accounting server from the device.
  • If the ping fails, check whether the physical connection is faulty or the route is reachable. If the log does not persist after the server problem is resolved, no other actions are required.
  • If the ping succeeds, go to Step 2.

2. Contact technical support personnel.
