Message

RIP/6/RIP_INVALID_MTU: RIP could not run on interface [Interface] with the MTU as [MTU].

Description

RIP cannot run on the interface with improper MTU.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning

Interface

Indicates the interface name.

MTU

Indicates the maximum transmission unit.

Possible Causes

The MTU value on the interface was modified.

Procedure

1. Reconfigure the MTU value on the interface.
