Description

The BGP connection failed to be established because no Router ID was configured for the local device.

Parameters

VpnInstance	Name of a VPN instance

Possible Causes

No Router ID was configured for the local device and no IP address was configured for each physical interface and logical interface.

Procedure

1. In the BGP view, run the router-id command to set the router ID of the device.

2. Configure an IP address for a physical or logical interface.Run the ip address command in the interface view to configure an IP address for the interface.
