SNMP/4/SNMP_IPLOCK: The source IP was locked because of the failure of login through SNMP.(SourceIP=[SourceIP], VPN=[VPN])

In VS mode, this log is supported only by the admin VS.

Description

The source IP was locked due to an SNMP login failure.

Source IP address

VPN

VPN instance name

Possible Causes

Authentication failed when the NMS attempted to log in to a device.

Procedure

  • Check whether community names or user names and passwords of the SNMPv3 user with the source IP address are correct.
