Message

SOC/6/SOCATTACKLIMIT: Attack event exceed the board limit (Slot =[slot],EventLimit = [EventLimit],EventCurrent= [EventCurrent]).

In VS mode, this log is supported only by the admin VS.

Description

The number of attack events exceeded the board specification.

Parameters

slot	Slot ID of a board
EventLimit	Attack event specification of a board
EventCurrent	Number of attack events on a board

Possible Causes

The number of attack events exceeded the board specification.

Procedure

1. Check the SOC attack threshold. Compare the current CPU usage with the threshold.

If the current CPU usage exceeds the threshold, go to Step 2.
If the current CPU usage does not exceed the threshold, go to Step 4.

2. Check the log of Security Operation Center detected one attack (Slot=[INTEGER], EventNo=[INTEGER], Probability=[STRING], Reason=[STRING], IfName=[STRING], Sub-IfName = [STRING], Vlan=[UINT32], QinQ=[UINT32], MAC=[MAC], IP=[IPv4], IPv6=[IPv6]), and reference the processing suggestion.

3. Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support personnel.
