SSH/4/SSHS_IP_BLOCK_CLIENT: SSH client IP blocked due to authentication failure in last [LogIntervalTime] [LogTimeFormat]. (IpAddress=[IpAddress], VpnName=[VpnName], BlockCount=[BlockCount])

In VS mode, this log is supported only by the admin VS.

Description

SSH client's IP addresses that are blocked due to authentication failure in the specified time period.

Parameters

Parameter Name	Parameter Meaning
LogIntervalTime	Indicates the time which when expired generates an event log from the system start up.
LogTimeFormat	Indicates the time format in hours/minutes/seconds.
IpAddress	Indicates the blocked IP address of the client.
VpnName	Indicates the blocked VPN name of the client.
BlockCount	Indicates the number of times IP address gets blocked within the LogIntervalTime due to authentication failure.

Possible Causes

Client IP addresses are blocked due to multiple authentication failure.

Procedure

Run the activate ssh server ip-block ip-address command to unlock the IP address.
The IP address is locked and will be automatically unlocked after a specified period.
