Procedure

1. Rectify the fault based on the Type field value in the alarm information.

  • If the Type field is 0, the alarm is a one-way frame delay alarm. Go to 2.
  • If the Type field is 1, the alarm is a two-way frame delay alarm. Go to 3.
  • If the Type field is 2, the alarm is a one-way frame jitter alarm. Go to 4.
  • If the Type field is 3, the alarm is a two-way frame jitter alarm. Go to 5.
  • If the Type field is 4, the alarm is an alarm for the near-end frame loss rate of single-ended frame loss. Go to 6.
  • If the Type field is 5, the alarm is an alarm for the far-end frame loss rate of single-ended frame loss. Go to 7.
  • If the Type field is 6, the alarm is an alarm for the near-end frame loss rate of dual-ended frame loss. Go to 8.
  • If the Type field is 7, the alarm is an alarm for the far-end frame loss rate of dual-ended frame loss. Go to 9.

2. Run the display y1731 threshold-info onedelay-threshold md md-name ma ma-name mep-id mep-id [ 8021p 8021p-value ] command to view the values of UpperLimit and LowerLimit fields. Based on these values, determine whether the upper threshold for one-way frame delay is too small.

  • If yes, run the delay-measure one-way delay-threshold mep mep-id upper-limit upper-limit lower-limit lower-limit [ 8021p 8021p-value ] command to reset the upper threshold. Go to 10.
  • If no, go to 11.

3. Run the display y1731 threshold-info twodelay-threshold md md-name ma ma-name mep-id mep-id [ 8021p 8021p-value ] command to view the values of UpperLimit and LowerLimit fields. Based on these values, determine whether the upper threshold for two-way frame delay is too small.

  • If yes, run the delay-measure two-way delay-threshold mep mep-id upper-limit upper-limit lower-limit lower-limit [ 8021p 8021p-value ] command to reset the upper threshold. Go to 10.
  • If no, go to 11.

4. Run the display y1731 threshold-info onedelay-variation md md-name ma ma-name mep-id mep-id [ 8021p 8021p-value ] command to view the values of UpperLimit and LowerLimit fields. Based on these values, determine whether the upper threshold for one-way frame jitter is too small.

  • If yes, delay-measure one-way variation-threshold mep mep-id upper-limit upper-limit lower-limit lower-limit [ 8021p 8021p-value ] command to reset the upper threshold. Go to 10.
  • If no, go to 11.

5. Run the display y1731 threshold-info twodelay-variation md md-name ma ma-name mep-id mep-id [ 8021p 8021p-value ] command to view the values of UpperLimit and LowerLimit fields. Based on these values, determine whether the upper threshold for two-way frame jitter is too small.

  • If yes, run the delay-measure two-way variation-threshold mep mep-id upper-limit upper-limit lower-limit lower-limit [ 8021p 8021p-value ] command to reset the upper threshold. Go to 10.
  • If no, go to 11.

6. Run the display y1731 threshold-info singleloss-localratio md md-name ma ma-name mep-id mep-id [ 8021p 8021p-value ] command to view the values of UpperLimit and LowerLimit fields. Based on these values, determine whether the upper threshold for the near-end frame loss rate of single-ended frame loss is too small.

  • If yes, run the loss-measure single-ended local-ratio-threshold mep mep-id upper-limit upper-limit lower-limit lower-limit [ 8021p 8021p-value ] command to reset the upper threshold. Go to 10.
  • If no, go to 11.

7. Run the display y1731 threshold-info singleloss-remoteratio md md-name ma ma-name mep-id mep-id [ 8021p 8021p-value ] command to view the values of UpperLimit and LowerLimit fields. Based on these values, determine whether the upper threshold for the far-end frame loss rate of single-ended frame loss is too small.

  • If yes, run the loss-measure single-ended remote-ratio-threshold mep mep-id upper-limit upper-limit lower-limit lower-limit [ 8021p 8021p-value ] command to reset the upper threshold. Go to 10.
  • If no, go to 11.

8. Run the display y1731 threshold-info dualloss-localratio md md-name ma ma-name mep-id mep-id command to view the values of UpperLimit and LowerLimit fields. Based on these values, determine whether the upper threshold for the near-end frame loss rate of dual-ended frame loss is too small.

  • If yes, run the loss-measure dual-ended local-ratio-threshold mep mep-id upper-limit upper-limit lower-limit lower-limit command to reset the upper threshold. Go to 10.
  • If no, go to 11.

9. Run the display y1731 threshold-info dualloss-localratio md md-name ma ma-name mep-id mep-id command to view the values of UpperLimit and LowerLimit fields. Based on these values, determine whether the upper threshold for the far-end frame loss rate of dual-ended frame loss is too small.

  • If yes, run the loss-measure dual-ended local-ratio-threshold mep mep-id upper-limit upper-limit lower-limit lower-limit command to reset the upper threshold. Go to 10.
  • If no, go to 11.

10. In the system view, run the display alarm active command to check whether the alarm is cleared. If no, go to 11.

11. Collect alarm information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.

12. End.
