This log is supported only on NetEngine 8000 F1A.

In VS mode, this log is supported only by the admin VS.

Description

The number of sessions reached the upper limit of the device.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning

threshold

Upper threshold for online sessions on the device, determined by configuration, in percentage

Possible Causes

Cause 1: The number of online sessions on the device reached the upper threshold.

Cause 2: The upper threshold was set too low.

Procedure

1.Run the display this command in the system view to display user-stack warning-threshold, and check whether the upper threshold is too low.

  • If the upper threshold is too low, go to Step 2.
  • If the upper threshold is properly set, go to Step 3.

2.If the upper threshold is too low, reset it, and then go to Step 6.

3.Run the display access term statistics userstack command in the system view to check the number of current sessions. If the number of current sessions is close to the maximum number of users that the device can support, add an interface board.

4.Then, check whether the trap is cleared.

  • If the trap is cleared, go to Step 6.
  • If the trap persists, go to Step 5.

5.Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support personnel.

6.End.
