TRUNK/3/hwExtAllMemberDownNotify_active: The last member interface link status changes to down. (TrunkIfIndex=[ifIndex], TrunkName=[ifName])

Description

The last member interface of an Eth-Trunk interface in static LACP mode went Down.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning

ifIndex

Trunk interface index

ifName

Name of the Trunk interface

Possible Causes

All the member interfaces of the Eth-Trunk interface in static LACP mode were Down.

Procedure

1. Run the display this command in the trunk interface view to check whether the interface is shut down.

  • If the interface is shut down, go to Step 2.
  • If the interface is not shut down, go to Step 3.

2. Run the undo shutdown command in the trunk interface view and check whether the alarm is cleared.

  • If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 8.
  • If the alarm persists, go to Step 3.

3. Run the display this command in the view of each trunk member interface to check whether the member interface is shut down.

  • If a member interface is shut down, go to Step 4.
  • If no member interface is shut down, go to Step 5.

4. Run the undo shutdown command in the view of the trunk member interface and check whether the alarm is cleared.

  • If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 8.
  • If the alarm persists, go to Step 5.

5. Check whether the physical link is properly connected, including whether hardware such as the network cable or optical module is properly inserted.

  • If the link is properly connected, go to Step 7.
  • If the link is not properly connected, go to Step 6.

6. Properly connect the physical link and check whether the alarm is cleared.

  • If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 8.
  • If the alarm persists, go to Step 7.

7. Collect alarm and configuration information, and contact technical support engineers.

8. End.
