Message

DRIVER/2/hwFlexEGrpSpeedModeMismatch_active: The speed modes of the FlexE physical interfaces in the FlexEGroup mismatch alarm.(GroupIndex=[hwFlexEGroupIndex],GroupName=[hwFlexEGroupName])

In VS mode, this log is supported only by the admin VS.

Description

The speed modes of the FlexE physical interfaces in the FlexEGroup mismatch alarm.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning

hwFlexEGroupIndex

Index of FlexE group.

hwFlexEGroupName

Name of FlexE Group. This parameter specifies the slot and card informations and group index which the group belongs.

Possible Causes

The rates of the physical interfaces bound to the FlexE group are different.

Procedure

1. Check whether the bandwidths of the FlexE physical interfaces in the FlexE group are the same.

  • If so, go to Step 5.
  • If not, go to Step 2.

2. Check whether the FlexE physical interfaces in the group support forcible switchover or auto-sensing.

  • If the interfaces support forcible switchover, auto-sensing, or both, go to Step 3.
  • If the interfaces support neither forcible switchover nor auto-sensing, go to Step 4.

3. Run the port-speed command or insert an optical module to ensure that the bandwidths of the FlexE physical interfaces in the group are the same. Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

  • If so, go to Step 6.
  • If not, go to Step 4.

4. Re-select physical interfaces and bind them in the group to ensure that the bandwidths of the physical interfaces are the same. Then, check whether the alarm is cleared.

  • If so, go to Step 6.
  • If not, go to Step 5.

5. Collect alarm, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support personnel.

6. End.
