Description

Symbol error alarm.

Parameters

hwIfMonitorIndex	Index of physical port.
hwIfMonitorSymbolErrorStatistics	Symbol error statistics value.
hwIfMonitorSymbolErrorThreshold	Symbol error alarm threshold.
hwIfMonitorSymbolErrorInterval	Symbol error alarm interval time(unit is second),default value is 10s.
hwIfMonitorName	Name of physical port.

Possible Causes

Cause 0: The optical module was faulty.
Cause 1: The optical fiber was faulty.

Procedure

1.Replace the optical module and then check whether the fault is rectified.

If so, go to End.
If not, go to step 2.

2.Replace the optical fiber, and then check whether the fault is rectified.

If so, go to End.
If not, go to step 3.

3.Collect alarm information, log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
