Description

An alarm is generated when the number of alarms is set higher than the set time.

Parameters

hwPhysicalPortInSlot	Slot ID
hwPhysicalPortInCard	Card ID
hwPhysicalPortInPort	Port ID
hwPhysicalPortName	Port name

Possible Causes

Cause 1: The optical module failed.
Cause 2: The optical fiber failed

Procedure

1.Replace the optical module and check whether the alarm is cleared.

If so, go to Step 4.
If not, go to Step 2.

2.Replace the fiber, check whether the alarm is cleared.

If so, go to Step 4.
If not, go to Step 3.

3.Collect the alarm information, log information, and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
