In VS mode, this log is supported only by the admin VS.

Description

Automatic laser shutdown alarm.

Parameters

Parameter Name	Parameter Meaning
IfIndex	Index of physical port.
SlotID	Slot ID.
CardID	Card ID.
PortID	Port ID.
InterfaceName	Name of physical port.

Possible Causes

Cause 1: A user enabled the automatic laser shutdown function using the NMS or a command.

Cause 2: The local device detected an hwLosAlarm alarm and the laser was shut down automatically.

Procedure

1.Check and clear an hwLosAlarm alarm according to the procedure for dealing with the hwLosAlarm alarm.

If the alarm is cleared, go to End.
If the alarm is not cleared, go to Step 2.

2.Disable the automatic laser shutdown function. Check whether the alarm is cleared.

If the alarm is cleared, go to End.
If the alarm is not cleared, go to Step 3.

3.Collect alarm information, log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
