(MegId=[MegId], MegId=[Meg_Id], MeIndex=[MeIndex], MeType=[MeType], MeDirection=[MeDirection], IfName=[IfName], PeerIP=[PeerIP], VcId=[VcId], VcType=[VcType], RemoteIp=[RemoteIp], Ttl=[Ttl], MepId=[MepId], RemoteMepId=[RemoteMepId], LspName=[LspName], VsiName=[VsiName])

Description

TP OAM detected a continuity fault.

Possible Causes

Cause 1: The MEP was enabled to receive CCMs, but the RMEP was not enabled to send CCMs. As a result, the MEP did not receive a CCM from the RMEP within a period of 3.5 times a specified interval.

Cause 2: The interface connected to the MPLS TE tunnel was shut down, causing the MEP to fail to receive a CCM from the RMEP within a period of 3.5 times a specified interval.

Cause 3: Congestion occurred on the MPLS TE tunnel, causing the MEP to fail to receive a CCM from the RMEP within a period of 3.5 times a specified interval.

Cause 4: Link performance deteriorated, causing the MEP to fail to receive a CCM from the RMEP within a period of 3.5 times a specified interval.

Procedure

1. Run the display interface command to check whether any physical interface connected to the MPLS TE tunnel is shut down.

  • If any physical interface connected to the MPLS TE tunnel is shut down, go to Step 2.
  • If no physical interface connected to the MPLS TE tunnel is shut down, go to Step 3.

2. Run the undo shutdown command to enable the physical interface, and check whether the alarm is cleared.

  • If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 6.
  • If the alarm is not cleared, go to Step 3.

3. Run the display mpls-tp oam meg command to check whether the MEP is enabled to receive CCMs and the RMEP is enabled to send CCMs in the MEG.

  • If the MEP is enabled to receive CCMs and the RMEP is enabled to send CCMs, go to Step 5.
  • If the MEP is not enabled to receive CCMs and the RMEP is not enabled to send CCMs, go to Step 4.

4. Enable the MEP to receive CCMs, and enable the RMEP to send CCMs. Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

  • If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 6.
  • If the alarm is not cleared, go to Step 5.

5. Collect log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.

6. End.
