Description

The number of NHRP dynamic peers reached the alarm threshold.

Parameters

Possible Causes

The number of dynamic NHRP peers exceeded the alarm threshold.

Procedure

1. Check the alarm information and whether the NhrpDynThrhold field is set properly. The alarm information contains the NhrpDynThrhold and NhrpDynPeerNumber fields, which indicate the current threshold and current number of NHRP dynamic peers, respectively.

If the field is set properly, go to Step 3.
If the field is not set properly, go to Step 2.

2. Run the nhrp capacity warning-threshold command to set a new threshold and check whether the alarm is cleared.

If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 5.
If the alarm persists, go to Step 3.

3. Run the reset nhrp peer command to delete the unwanted dynamic tunnels and check whether the alarm is cleared.

If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 5.
If the alarm persists, go to Step 4.

4. Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact Huawei technical support personnel.
