Description

The number of local NHRP entries reached the specification.

Parameters

Possible Causes

The number of local NHRP entries exceeded the specification.

Procedure

1. Check the alarm information and whether the hwNHRPLocalPeerLimit field is set properly. The alarm information contains the hwNHRPLocalPeerLimit and hwNHRPLocalPeerCnt fields, which indicates the current threshold and number of local entries, respectively.

If the threshold is set properly, go to Step 3.
If the threshold is not set properly, go to Step 2.

2. Run the nhrp capacity warning-threshold command to set a new threshold and check whether the alarm is cleared.

If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 5.
If the alarm persists, go to Step 3.

3. Run the reset nhrp peer command to delete the unwanted dynamic tunnels and check whether the alarm is cleared.

If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 5.
If the alarm persists, go to Step 4.

4. Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact Huawei technical support personnel.
