Description

The optical module failed completely.

Possible Causes

The SerDes interface of the Smart-Clock module was faulty.

Procedure

1. Reset the Smart-Clock module and check if the alarm is cleared.

If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 4.
If the alarm persists, go to Step 2.

2. Replace the Smart-Clock module and check if the alarm is cleared.

If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 4.
If the alarm persists, go to Step 3.

3. Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support.
