DEVM/4/hwOpticalTunableNotMatch_active

Message

DEVM/4/hwOpticalTunableNotMatch_active: Configuration collision occurred between wavelength setting and untunable optical module. (EntityPhysicalIndex=[hwEntityPhysicalIndex], EntPhysicalIndex=[entPhysicalIndex], EntPhysicalName=[entPhysicalName], EntityTrapFaultID=[hwEntityTrapFaultID])

Description

Configuration collision occurred between wavelength setting and untunable optical module.

Parameters

Parameter Name Parameter Meaning

hwEntityPhysicalIndex

Index of physical port.

entPhysicalIndex

Index of physical port.

entPhysicalName

Name of the physical entity.

hwEntityTrapFaultID

Error code.

Possible Causes

A wavelength-tunable optical module is configured, whereas a wavelength-fixed one is installed.

Procedure

1. Run the display this command in a specified interface view and check whether the wavelength is configured.

  • If the wavelength is configured, go to Step 2.
  • If the wavelength is not configured, go to Step 4.

2. Run the display this interface command in a specified interface view and check whether the center wavelength of the optical module is tunable.

  • If the center wavelength of the optical module is tunable, go to Step 3.
  • If the center wavelength of the optical module is not tunable, go to Step 4.

3. Replace the optical module and re-install the wavelength-tunable optical module. Alternatively, run the undo wavelength command to delete the center wavelength. Check whether the alarm is cleared.

  • If the alarm is cleared, go to End.
  • If the alarm persists, go to Step 4.

4. Collect alarm information, log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
