In VS mode, this log is supported only by the admin VS.

Description

Physical state of the port changed to down.

Parameters

Parameter Name	Parameter Meaning
BaseTrapSeverity	To describe the level of trap.
BaseTrapProbableCause	To describe the probable cause of trap.
BaseTrapEventType	To describe the type of trap.
EntityPhysicalIndex	Index of the physical entity.
EntPhysicalName	The textual name of the physical entity.
ReasonDescription	Indicates the description of the possible cause.

Possible Causes

The status of the physical interface is Down.

Procedure

1. Check the link between failure port and peer port to make sure the link is normal. Check whether the fault is rectified.

If so, go to End.
If not, go to Step 2.

2. Run the display interface interface-type interface-number command in the user view to check the status of failure port and peer port.

If so, go to End.
If not, go to Step 3.

3. If the failure port or peer port is in managing down status, then enter the interface view and run the undo shutdown command, check whether the fault is rectified.

If so, go to End.
If not, go to Step 4.

4. Collect alarm information, log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
