In VS mode, this log is supported only by the admin VS.

Description

Port physical rate degrade alarm has occurred.

Parameters

Parameter Name	Parameter Meaning
hwPhysicalPortIfIndex	Index of physical port.
hwPhysicalPortName	Name of physical port.
hwPortPhysicalRate	Rate of physical port.

Possible Causes

The rate negotiated between electrical interfaces reduced from 1000 Mbit/s to 100 Mbit/s or 10 Mbit/s.

Procedure

1. After troubleshooting the link failure, check whether the alarm is cleared.

If the alarm is cleared, go to End.
If the alarm persists, go to Step 2.

2. Check whether the electrical interface of the remote device fails.

If the interface fails, go to Step 3.
If the interface does not fail, go to Step 4.

3. Troubleshoot the electrical interface failure and check whether the alarm is cleared.

If the alarm is cleared, go to End.
If the alarm persists, go to Step 4.

4. Collect alarm information, log information and configuration information, and then contact technical support personnel.
