In VS mode, this log is supported only by the admin VS.

Description

The power supply experienced a partial failure, which may be caused by a component failure.

Possible Causes

  • Cause 136704: The channel between the power module and the device failed.
  • Cause 136705: The fans inside the power module failed.
  • Cause 136706: The lightning protection device inside the power module failed.
  • Cause 136707: The power module failed.
  • Cause 136708: The EEPROM on the power module failed.
  • Cause 136709: The lightning protection component of the power supply module failed(1+1-).
  • Cause 136710: The lightning protection component of the power supply module failed(2+2-).
  • Cause 136713: The PCA9555 on the power module failed.
  • Cause 136714: The current of the power is not average.
  • Cause 136719: The input of power module is abnormal.
  • Cause 136726: Unknown hardware type of a power board.
  • Cause 136727: The switch 1 on a power module is off.
  • Cause 136728: The switch 2 on a power module is off.
  • Cause 136734: The current of the power exceed the max value.
  • Cause 136740: The power module did not exist and could not supply backup power to the device.
  • Cause 136741: The current exceed the max value.
  • Cause 136742: The Power canbus is abnormal.
  • Cause 136743: The power id address conflict.
  • Cause 136744: The AC power module was installed in an invalid slot.
  • Cause 136745: PWR(PEM) SLOT 8/9 not Match
  • Cause 136966: The power supply module was installed but was not powered on.
  • Cause 136970: The power supply module was installed but was not powered on(1+1-).
  • Cause 136971: The power supply module was installed but was not powered on(2+2-).
  • Cause 136988: The app of the power module is abnormal.

Procedure

  • Cause 136704: The channel between the power module and the device failed.

    1. Replace the power supply module. If the alarm persists, replace the MPU.

    2. If the alarm persists, collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support.

    3. End.

  • Cause 136705: The fans inside the power module failed.

    1. Power off the faulty power supply module and then replace it with a new one.

    2. If the alarm persists, collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support.

    3. End.

  • Cause 136706: The lightning protection device inside the power module failed.

    1. Replace the power supply module. If the alarm persists, replace the MPU.

    2. If the alarm persists, collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support.

    3. End.

  • Cause 136707: The power module failed.

    1. Run the display device slot-id command in the user view to view information about the faulty power supply module. Check whether all components are in PRESENT state and all the Status items are normal.

    2. Replace the faulty components or the power supply module.

    3. If the alarm persists, collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support.

    4. End.

  • Cause 136708: The EEPROM on the power module failed.

    1. If a board is powered off because of insufficient power supply, replace the power supply module.

    2. If the alarm persists, collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support.

    3. End.

  • Cause 136709: The lightning protection component of the power supply module failed(1+1-).

    1. Power off the faulty power supply module.

    2. Replace the power supply module.

    3. Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support.

    4. End.

  • Cause 136710: The lightning protection component of the power supply module failed(2+2-).

    1. Power off the faulty power supply module.

    2. Replace the power supply module.

    3. Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support.

    4. End.

  • Cause 136713: The PCA9555 on the power module failed.

    Contact technical support.

  • Cause 136714: The current of the power is not average.

    1. If the faulty PM module is newly inserted, check whether it is properly inserted, the backplane has bent pins, or its connector has faults.

    • If any of the preceding faults occurs, go to Step 2.
    • If none of the preceding faults occurs, go to Step 3.

    2. Execute the operations according to the following conditions.

    • If the PM module is not properly inserted, insert it properly.
    • If the backplane has bent pins, do not insert the PM module to the fault slot. In this case, contact technical support personnel.
    • If the PM module connector is faulty, replace the PM module.
    • If the faulty power module is not newly inserted, go to step 3.

    3. Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support.

    4. End.

  • Cause 136719: The input of power module is abnormal.

    1. Check whether the cable is properly connected to the PM module.

    2. Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support.

    3. End.

  • Cause 136726: Unknown hardware type of a power board.

    1. Replace the power module with one matching with the system.

    2. Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support.

    3. End.

  • Cause 136727: The switch 1 on a power module is off.

    1. Check whether switch 1 on the power panel is closed.

    • If switch 1 is not closed, go to Step 2.
    • If switch 1 is closed, go to Step 3.

    2. Close switch 1 and check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 5.
    • If the alarm persists, go to Step 3.

    3. Replace the power module.

    Power off the faulty power module before replacing it. Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 5.
    • If the alarm persists, go to Step 4.

    4. Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support.

    5. End.

  • Cause 136728: The switch 2 on a power module is off.

    1. Check whether switch 2 on the power panel is closed.

    • If switch 2 is not closed, go to Step 2.
    • If switch 2 is closed, go to Step 3.

    2. Close switch 2 and check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 5.
    • If the alarm persists, go to Step 3.

    3. Replace the power module.

    Power off the faulty power module before replacing it.

    Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 5.
    • If the alarm persists, go to Step 4.

    4. Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support.

    5. End.

  • Cause 136734: The current of the power exceed the max value.

    1. Check whether the PM module is properly installed.

    If yes, go to Step 3.

    If no, go to Step 2.

    2. Securely insert the faulty PM and check whether the alarm is cleared.

    If yes, go to Step 7.

    If no, go to Step 3.

    3. Check whether there are bent pins.

    If yes, go to step 6.

    If no, go to Step 4.

    4. Check whether the PM connector is faulty.

    If yes, go to step 5.

    If no, go to Step 6.

    5. Replace the PM and check whether the alarm is cleared.

    If yes, go to Step 7.

    If no, go to Step 4.

    6. Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support.

    7. End.

  • Cause 136740: The power module did not exist and could not supply backup power to the device.

    1. Install a power module.

    2. Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support.

    3. End.

  • Cause 136741: The current exceed the max value.

    1. Replace the power supply module. If the alarm persists, replace the MPU.

    2. If the alarm persists, collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support.

    3. End.

  • Cause 136742: The Power canbus is abnormal.

    1. Replace the power supply module. If the alarm persists, replace the MPU.

    2. If the alarm persists, collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support.

    3. End.

  • Cause 136743: The power id address conflict.

    1. Replace the power supply module. If the alarm persists, replace the MPU.

    2. If the alarm persists, collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support.

    3. End.

  • Cause 136744: The AC power module was installed in an invalid slot.

    1. Remove the power supply module. If the alarm persists, replace the MPU.

    2. If the alarm persists, collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support.

    3. End.

  • Cause 136745: PWR(PEM) SLOT 8/9 not Match

    1. Remove the power or replace the PEM.

    2. If the alarm persists, collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support.

    3. End.

  • Cause 136966: The power supply module was installed but was not powered on.

    Power on the power supply module.

  • Cause 136970: The power supply module was installed but was not powered on(1+1-).

    1. Power on the power supply module.

    2. Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support.

    3. End.

  • Cause 136971: The power supply module was installed but was not powered on(2+2-).

    1. Power on the power supply module.

    2. Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support.

    3. End.

  • Cause 136988: The app of the power module is abnormal.

    1. Upgrade the PM module.

    2. Upgrade end and check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 5.
    • If the alarm persists, go to Step 3.

    3. Replace the power module.

    Power off the faulty power module before replacing it.

    Then check whether the alarm is cleared.

    • If the alarm is cleared, go to Step 5.
    • If the alarm persists, go to Step 4.

    4. Collect trap, log, and configuration information, and contact technical support.
