Cause 1: The physical link carried over the external time port is down.
Cause 2: Different time formats are specified for the external time ports on the upstream and downstream devices.
1. Check the physical link of external time port whether is up.
2. Analyze the reason of the physical link down, check whether the connection has been torn down, and fix the link. Then check whether there is a clear alarm.
3. Check the format of time port is upstream and downstream equipment outside the time port configuration whether are match.
4. Correctly configure the time format of time ports, for the configuration procedure,see the HUAWEI Universal Service Router Configuration Guide - System Management. - If incorrect,please re-configure. then check whether there is a clear alarm.
5. Collect the alarm information, log information, and configuration information, and then contact Huawei technical support personnel.
